Funder advisory group

The Funder Advisory Group is primarily made-up by representatives of our funder members, and prospective members, as well as a smaller group of representatives of related initiatives. They meet online, and participate in a mailing group, to discuss Crossref developments, advise us on our policies and processes, discuss changes to the broader landscape and share knowledge and best practices among them. The Advisory Group helps us make our vision of an interconnected Research Nexus a reality.

In 2025, the group:

Crossref continues to enhance the Grant Linking System for the benefit of funders and the broader research community; the group meets three times a year online to advance this goal.

If you are a funder and would like to stay in touch with Crossref’s GLS and other related work you can join our email distribution list. Read the group Terms of Reference.
